I am so sorry. Yes, we have an epidemic, young men especially, taking their lives.

In 1955, my father's mother committed suicide, 13 years before I was born. Without question, my father's inability to heal from that (he found her), negatively impacted his parenting and marriage. And although I'm adopted, the generational trauma of that event lives in me.
