James, I thought of you when I wrote this, about how much I learn from your writing, and about the emotional toll that work must take. After O'Shea Sibley was killed I watched videos of his extraordinary dancing, as if I could make sense of it that way, but I didn't think to take more meaningful, public action (beyond our years long monthly donation to the Trevor Project). I wish it didn't take being personally connected for me to write this and order gear, but here we are and we won't stop.
