Thanks so much for reading and responding. Late discovery adoptees (LDA) are a unique subset of adoption, but your feeling that you were your own creation is shared by many adoptees. So happy you have a happy reunion. Knowing who and where you come from and look like is pretty magical when you lived most your life in the dark.
