Yesterday, I listened to The Daily podcast episode covering the decision. It said that about 69% of Americans--including roughly 50% of Democrats--support overturning affirmative action. White fragility is staggering, shameful; white America diseased in its DNA. And the decision itself would be laughable if not so tragic: an exception for the military? Okay to write about race in your essay? As you've written before, the decisions of the past year have shown us SCOTUS is functioning exactly as it was designed to: protect the white man at all costs.
